Vessel is an art and architecture project based in Aotearoa, New zealand with a global outlook. Its aim is to explore the ways in which architecture can merge with nature and heighten the human sensory experience.
Vessel was conceived as a medium for reimagining the relationship between humans and the natural world.
We are seeking to interweave craft, artistic practice and architecture to create spaces that aren’t restricted to one particular mode of thought, that can instead evolve into something new and fluid.
To rejoin human beings and the environment, to attempt to rewild ourselves, Vessel aims to dissolve the usual boundaries of living spaces that remove us from the sensory experience of nature, while simultaneously creating a sense of place for ritualising the everyday.
